Foreign students
In the 1st semester the department offers European Private International Law course. EPIL course consists of a 45-hours lecture given in English (7 ECTS points). This course is dedicated to all foreign students coming to Jagiellonian University within different exchange programmes.
The course should be attended by students who are interested in private law matters with international elements. The main goal of the course is to sensitize students to legal situations containing foreign element and, therefore, make them aware of the relevance of private international law. The course is a good introduction to the body of EU private international law (relevant EU Regulations).
